There are a number of hiking options for those that like to go by foot and appreciate the desert at a slower pace and catch a different view of the valleys below.

• JEBEL UM ADAMI - THE HIGHEST PEAK IN JORDAN 
• BURDAH BRIDGE -  THE HIGHEST ROCK ARCH WITHIN THE PROTECTED AREA.
• RAKABAT CANYON - A NARROW GORGE THAT CUTS THROUGH UM ISHRIN

Jebel Hash has pretty sweet views into the desert valleys below. Complete the full day jeep tour and sleep overnight, Following breakfast head out by jeep to Jebel Hash. Return to the camp for a final night. Following breakfast the next morning we head back to the village for your onward journey.

If you are not afraid of heights this a great climb. There is a bit near the end of the climb that may challenge some but it is doable. You will be rewarded with spectacular valley views. Complete the full day jeep tour and sleep overnight. Following breakfast head out by jeep to Jebel Burdah. Return to the camp in the afternoon for a final night. Following breakfast the next morning we head back to the village for your onward journey.

Jeep TOUR AND RAKABAT CANYON - 2 days 1 night

A hike through this narrow gorge is pretty special. Also a good option if you want to get away from Wadi Rum by 1:00pm. Again there is a small section at the start where it helps if you have no issues with heights. Just don't look down and you will be fine. Complete the full day jeep tour and sleep overnight. Following breakfast head back to the village where your driver will drop the guide and yourselves at the start of the trail to commence the hike. Depending on time you might like to check out the Nabatean temple behind the rest house will your guide picks up some snacks and fresh water from the store.
